Jessica, I am so proud of you! From the moment I met your mom on orientation at law school, I learned about her wonderful family and her special relationship with you. Richard and I are excited about your journey and wish you love, health and happiness. I wish there were more people like you.

Comments: We call the experience you describe an epiphany. People search their whole lives to find what you have found. My hopes, wishes and prayers are with you. You, Jess, are a noble soul, fearless, alive and full of love. You have been called to make this world a better place and truly, the nut does not fall far from the tree with regards to this calling. You are accepting a tremendous responsibility, not only for those you will serve, but for yourself as well. It is no easy thing to give up life as you know it with all the creature comforts and conveniences you are used to. It is people like you who make the people like me stand in awe of the capabilities and the wonder of human nature. You will forever leave an imprint on each and every person you touch through out this amazing mission. I know you will give something unique to each person you come across. you know i'm  blog challenged, but i had to tell you that  we are so proud of you we feel we are watching a miracle unfold right before our eyes.  your heart of compassion couldn't make me more prouder.  i am so thankful that you have such insight for those that feel hopeless. we know as well as others know this about you "when you walk into a room you light up a room"  

we love you very  much and we know that as you reach out to others you will be blessed back 10 fold.

I hardly know what to say....I am so proud of you and in awe of what you are doing. It's one thing to talk about all of the suffering and sadness in the world....it's an entirely different thing to do something about it.. I know you will have a very special guardian angel to help you along the way, and a multitude of prayers coming from Huntington!!  You are an inspiration! Hopefully you will be able to keep in contact along the way so that we can all encourage, love, support, and rejoice in all of your experiences.
