This past Sunday (Jan.23rd) was the launch of
Liberty Church at Tribeca Cinemas.
Over the last month, I have had the privilege of getting to know the pastors Paul and Andi Andrew. I arrived at 8:30 am, alongside my friend Kaitlin, to help them set up. The room was buzzing with excitement as volunteers set up chairs, and the worship team practiced their set.
Around 10am the lounge started filling up with guests. People hurried in from the freezing cold and warmed up with free coffee and donuts. Around 10:30am people began entering the main area and began worship.

The worship was lead by Steve Trayner and it was great! After about 4-5 songs, Andi explained tithing as well as introduced the different connect groups. Her quirky and genuine charm had people smiling throughout the room. Then Paul stepped onstage and asked us "What would you give for a city?" He explained the process that brought him and his family to New York, as well as his heart for the city. As Paul began to tear up, explaining the questions God laid before him, my heart began to stir for what God had in store for Manhattan.
I'm excited for service this upcoming Sunday at 10am. I hope to see you there!
