When you write a blog, you sometimes wonder...is this reaching anyone? Last night I logged into my facebook account and found this message:
Jessi,
Good evening. I'm confident we've never met (though I'm sure our degrees' of separation probably aren't that great), but I wanted to send you this quick message because your website inspired me today.
Your post about a friend's picture, be it by way of sheer happenstance or perhaps boredom, prompted me to look at your profile. Wondering whether or not I knew who you were, I opened your website (www.jessimarquez.com) and was touched by what I read.
Within the last few months, life's way has inspired me to reopen myself to God & the Catholic faith, after far too many years of ignorance and doubt. And this action is making a very positive difference in my life. I couldn't help but think as I was reading that maybe your prayers have aided me... and that God meant for me to stumble upon your site.
Anyway, for whatever it might be worth, I just wanted to say thank you for what you do and offer my sincerest encouragement to continue. There are not enough people like you in this world, but I pray that your website, message and actions will help change that!
Very Respectfully,
(I have removed their name for privacy reasons)
Thank you so much for your message, this really was so encouraging!
