Hi, My name is Jessica Marquez and I am a participant on

THE WORLD RACE!

 I left New York City on January 1st and am visiting 11 countries in 11 months to do missionary work around the world. During the 11 months,  I will travel to 11 countries with a team and help share the love of God, while doing different kinds of humanitarian work!

We will speak and bring hope to the impoverished in Cambodia...

Restore self worth to those slaved in prostitution in Thailand

Build churches and schools in Uganda

Teach English and generate smiles on lonely orphans in Romania

and arouse faith in those that feel forgotten and alone.

I know this is going to be an adventure and probably be one of the hardest things ill ever do. However, sometimes the hardest thing and the right thing are the same. I know that this will probably change my whole outlook on life, and that I will miss everyone at home deeply. I'm thrilled to seek the plan for my life and push myself to every extreme limit. I can't wait  As Dave Matthews said I'm "Trying to change the world, while the world is changing us."
